Joyce Lisbin, ED.D

Joyce Lisbin has been a leader in the field of health education and communications for over 35 years with special expertise in sexuality education. Her accomplishments include creating interactive training sessions with original educational materials on decision-making, sexual health and relationships and the development of innovative statewide databases and websites designed to enhance inter-community cooperation.  She created and founded several university peer education programs and is an experienced trainer and educator. She continues to combine the fundamentals of public health philosophy with empowerment educational models. Her professional focus continues to be on reproductive and sexual health rights for all people and the prevention of violence and abuse. Joyce has held positions in public health and nonprofit agencies in New Jersey, New York, New Mexico and California. Her professional responsibilities include management, coordination of health promotion campaigns, creation and implementation of community and program development projects.  Dr. Lisbin has taught as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University, University of New Mexico, and Hunter College in New York. She conducts training and educational sessions throughout the United States, Kenya, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.
